Employee Benefits
Brasher’s Reno offers a competitive benefit package to provide a sense of safety and security to employees and their families.

Medical/Dental/Life Insurance
Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental & life insurance. Regular full time employees (working 130 hours or more a month) that have been here 90 days will be eligible to participate. Along with a comprehensive benefits package, Brasher’s also offers a wellness program to all employees. The wellness program provides employees with helpful information on a variety of health topics.

401(k) Retirement Plan
All employees with 12 months of service, who have worked 1000 hours or more during those 12 months, and are at least 21 years if age are eligible for the 401K Profit Sharing Plan. This plan allows you to defer, for retirement, a percentage of your current earnings. This is done through a payroll deduction and is free from state and federal tax. Brasher’s will match 50% of your contribution up to 6% of your annual earnings.

EAP (Employee Assistance Program) – Brochures available in the HR office
The EAP program is a benefit provided to all employees of Brasher’s Auto Auctions. It is also available to all family members living in the employee’s home. It is administered by a third party and is strictly confidential. EAP can help with a number of issues, such as; family & marital conflicts, stress, depression & anxiety, alcohol or drug dependency, legal questions and much more.

Purchasing a Vehicle
Although the auction is limited to purchases by wholesale dealers only, any employee who has successfully completed their 90 day introductory period interested in buying a vehicle offered for sale at the auction can contact the Human Resource Manager for information about the purchase they would like to make. Auction financing is not available.

Holidays
Brasher’s Auto Auctions offers full time regular employees 6 paid holidays per year.

Vacation & Sick Leave
After one year of employment, full & part time employees are eligible for paid vacation. Sick leave may be used once you have completed your 90 day introductory period. Along with a generous vacation & sick package, Brasher’s offers flexible working schedules to employees.

Employee Recognition
Brasher’s realizes the importance of recognizing its employees. Monthly there are two employees awarded for employee of the month. Annually one of those employees will receive the employee of the year award.
